The 7 anime series are controversial because they end differently from the Manga

Although they are adaptations of Manga, but these Anime series make fans community constantly arguing.

1. Death Note

The end of the Death Note reveals to Light Yagami making a deal with the Shinigami: Ryuk writes Light’s name in the notebook and kills him. This happens in both Anime and Manga, however, the way it happens is completely different.
In the Manga, the Shinigami was a direct factor in Light’s death, while the Anime kills Light with a gunshot before his name is finished.

The Tokyo Ghoul anime is perhaps the most popular on this list with the title of “no manga related”. Although Anime started out like Manga, but as time went on, the storyline became more and more different, leading to an end that wasn’t like manga.

Elfen Lied is one of the anime series that only adapts part of the Manga, but that doesn’t mean it leaves a story unfinished. Many Anime series are like Eflen Lied, understanding that the story will be more appealing if there are only a small number of episodes and focus on the most important details.
